I don't feel i need to provide clothing to represent the genre of my band as they are the genre, they are not in anyway impersonating the genre or at been a band, I don't need to construct fanciful image of 'indie musicians' because they are what they are, and what they are is representative of the genre of music they play and that i enjoy.

Camera Shots

Mid Shot
Mid shot of drummer. It shows a relatively close up image of the drummer whilst giving context to his surroundings sand his actions.

Close Up
Close up of drummer showing facial expression.

High Angle
High angles of drummer looking down at the drum, gives an alternate more interesting viewing angle.

Two Shot
Two shot establishing relationships between band members.

Wide Shot
Showing the surroundings of the recording studio, gives context to where the video is shot and helps with the indie genre.

Low Angle

Low angle shots of the bassist gives an alternative and more interesting viewing experience, this makes the video more entertaining for the audience.

First day of filming

First day of my two day filming session with The Tennents! Filming there recording of there new EP, filming over al went well, some issues with lighting as the room was quite dark but I wanted to capture  an important moment in the bands strive to brake through into the music industry. The footage is slightly raw and Un refined but that is the effect I wanted as I believe it represents the DIY make shift genre of indie rock music.

The Cribs - Our Bovine Public 30 second clip

My story board draft edit of The Cribs-Our Bovine Public. Story boarding the first 30 seconds of the cribs video helped me to realise how much effort it requires to story board a full video. However the video also helped me to realise the type of style in which I wish my video to be. By story boarding a video in a similar vain of genre as my own it helps me to understand the editing techniques used and what effect they create.
